                                       (IA) The specific rights:

1. Freedom of speech and expression within the boundary of one’s conscience.

2. Assembly membership and voting rights as well as Right to Information.

3. The right to carry out one’s livelihood/profession within social norms.

4. The right to marry ethically within or outside Singsit clan.

5. Right to choose, sell or transfer chief-ship in consultation with the S.O.

6. The Inn-pi Senators shall decide the right to inherit or divide parents’ property by

daughter(s) if  no son(s) to inherit. It shall be final.        

                                             (IB)
The specific duties:  

1. To self and family, church, community, organization and country in humility and obedience, 

    and clear conscience.

2. To maintain peace and harmony wherever called for.

3. To render respect to elderly, women, younger ones, physically challenged and poverty stricken

persons, being equal before God through ethic of the Bible.

 4. Pay family’s annual head-count tax of Rs.  …. . only.

Specific highlight on Reward and Accountability:

1. Every good deed shall be appropriately recognized and rewarded publicly.

2. Every intentional wrong doing committed shall be answerable to the law of the country. 

3. In the case of incumbent office-bearer(s) committing gross misconduct and negligence  he/she  shall be summoned by the Inn-pi Senates and SO and SYO (GHQ) in writing. If found guilty, he or she shall be removed from the post and replaced by newly appointed/elected member. No one is above the law.

4. The vacant post(s) shall be filled within a month. The Senators, Advisers, and Executive members of S.O. and SYO (GHQs) shall appoint whoever is fit to fill the said post. 

 

                                           (II) CODE OF CONDUCT and

                                            BUSINESS PROCEDURES

Every Member shall maintain the following formalities/discipline:

(i) Be a good listener till you have a point to make.

(ii) Wait for the speaker to finish his/her presentation. Do not disrupt unless the speaker

speaks unacceptable or unrelated subject matters.

(iii) Present your point clear, loud and short. Be objective, rational and minimal subjective.

(iv) Let there be humility to  “agree to disagree” and keep cool during discussion.

(v) Maintain respect and discipline till the end.

(vi) EC shall prepare/collect agenda for discussion.

(vii) Avoid sarcasm and personal attacks at the meeting instead maintain discipline.

No one is perfect but should be teachable. Set a good example in Punctuality and  Discipline.

Avoid procrastination and vulgarity.     

(viii) Office-bearers shall abstain from any intoxicating drinks/smoking while on duty or in the Office. No office-bearer should cheat trusting donors at any cost/reason. Instead, mutual respect should be the norm.

 

                              (III)  MANDATORY PARTICIPATION BY: 14

(a) Secular Employees,

(b) Think-tanks, and

(c) Religious body.

(a)
Secular Employees:

They are the financial backbone of Singsit organization. They must not fail in their categorical annual family contribution as free-will donation of Rs. 200-1000/-for maintenance of office, transportation expenditure of office bearers whenever required (because at present office bearers have no allowances ear-marked (sitting and transportations and meals). This burden will continue until SO is financially sound.

(b)
Think-tanks:

They are our competent intellectuals, foresight, silent savior. Selfless services rendered must not be overlooked. Let this be mandatory in our organization and render due respect and recognition to the deserving.  

(c) Religious Body participation:

Pi …. (*w/o of SL Singson IAS) said many times : “Singson ho hi Levi phung-a ihiuve” Today many of us (non-Singsons) also play that role. They are spiritual teachers who are “after God’s own heart”. Their prayers and moral teachings are essential for a holistic development. Their participation in the organization is a mandatory. 

 

                                  (VI)  Goal of Singsit Home:

Home-making and well-being is a priority for every Singsit woman/mother. Therefore, every woman should be trained in the art of mother-hood and literacy. A stable home alone can perpetuate the objective of being progressive clan. Hence, the primary objective shall be:

(A) Health of the family (Physical, Mental and Spiritual).

(B) Cordial Family Relationship (where the head of the family sets the roll-modelling)

(C) Secured Home is based on:

C1. Basic Needs: Food, Clothing and Shelter.

C2. Situational Safety: From exploitation, illiteracy, atrocity and anti-clan scheme.
