Article 2 INN-PI SYSTEM
STRUCTURE:
2.(i) Pu Bombal pa shall be permanent head of the clan as well as Inn-pi. Nearest kin shall be in-charge of Inn-pi in case of demise or absence. He must not be bias in his decisions.
2.(ii) Singsit Inn-pi Senates (in true sense of the word) shall comprise three persons from each sub-clan selected by its sub-clan selection committee. A Senator may be re-selected or replace on the basis of Performance, Availability or Health condition.
2.(iii) Selected Senators (male or female above the age of 40) from each sub-clan shall be as follows:
Pu Phohhil sung’a (mi 3);
Pu Singson sung’a (mi 3);
Pu Sitkil sung’a (mi 3);
Pu Thomson sung’a (mi 3).
2.(iv) A Secretary shall be appointed on temporary basis by and from the senate members. The Secretary can be re-appointed. The rest of the members can be assigned needful portfolios on temporary basis.
2.(v) The tenure shall be two years more than the tenure of S.O. and SYO.
2.(vi) Functions of Senators: The senators shall act as a “Supreme Court” for Singsit Inn-sung customary affairs. However, Law of the country shall be final in all legal matters.
2.(vii) Inn-pi Senators can question and take action against SO Presidents or any of Executive members if complaint is lodged against him/them from wide. Senators shall enquire into the matter without bias and take appropriate action against the offender unless proved otherwise.
2.(viii) There shall be no ex-officio member. Any sub-clan selection committee can have its own ex-officio member if so desired. (A FLOW-CHART is shown in the Schedule ending)
