(The background of this Constitution)
Thadou son Elmun,Elmun son Hing'el, Hing’el son Singsit, Singsit sons : PHOHHIL, SINGSON, SITKIL and THOMSONG scattered all around the globe after the downfall of their city MUIJANG KHOPI; The educated and scholar of the family sees the need of an organization to united the four son of Singsit, so on the 23th December, 1939. Singsit Organisation was founded at SATIN BUOLLEN.

After 63 years (1939-1992) Organisation leader along with scholars had a meeting at Pu (L) S.L. Singson IAS residence discussing about the need of a constitution for the Singsit people. Therefore, Pu Seiboi Singsit IFS and Pu Dr. Rev. Doukhothang Singson were given the whole responsible to Draft the constitution. Members present on this meeting are :
Pu. SL Singson IAS, Dr. Rev. Dongkhothang Singson, Dr. Seikho Singsit, Pu Seiboi Singsit IFS, Pu Haolhun Singsit (heads of the clan), Pu Haokhotin Singson (SO president), Pu Haotinlien Singson (Village Chief), Pu Jangkholun Singson (writer), Pu TK Siema (teacher).
Dated 11th July, 1992. The first Singsit Constitution was draft at Pu Seiboi Singsit residence. The members who draft the first Singsit constitution were Dr. Rev. Dongkhothang Singson, PU Seiboi Singsit IFS, Pu Haolhun Singsit, Pu Haokhotin Singson, Haotinlien Singson, Pu Jangkholun Singson, and Pu TK Siema.
Dated 22nd June, 2016.A members of 7 (seven) were appointed to revised the draft constitution they were Pu Lamkholien Singsit, Pu Lhunkholam Singson Dalla Singsit@ DL Sitkil, Pu Haokholal Singson, Pu Thangtinlien Singsit, Pu Dr. Seiboi Singsit and Dr. Seikho Singsit
Dated 25th July, 2016. The had the first preliminary draft of the constitution at the residence of the drafting Convenor and on the 13th August, 2016 the second constitution preliminary draft was held at PU DR. Seikho Singsit IFS residence and agreed to draft the final draft of the constitution on dated 27th August, 2016 at the residence of the Singsit Organisation General Secretary.
After 23 year, the final Draft of the Constitution was handover to the Singsit Organisation (GHQ) Executive Committee on September, 2016.
